Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: a high school diploma or GED, experience working with students in a classroom or equivalent environment, and successful completion of a rigorous competency exam validating district and state required competency. The position also requires successful completion of a sign language interpreter training program and experience interpreting in one or more sign systems/languages. Licenses and Certifications: May require a valid driver’s license. An approved competency exam and a sign language interpreter training program.
