About the Role

We are seeking a passionate General Education Teacher specializing in writing instruction for middle school students in grades 7–8. The ideal candidate will inspire students to strengthen their literacy, composition, and critical thinking skills while fostering creativity and confidence in written communication.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging writing lessons aligned with Pennsylvania standards Teach grammar, composition, and creative writing to diverse learners Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student success Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment

Qualifications

Valid Pennsylvania Teaching License (required) Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred) Experience teaching writing at the middle school level Strong communication and classroom management skills
