In Illinois, part-time Speech-Language Pathologist roles are typically driven by school-based caseload needs, leave coverage, and student support services. These positions can be competitive because employers often look for a master’s degree, an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL), and preferred AAC or assistive technology experience.
