Position Details: Title: Substitute Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Reports to: Head of School Schedule: As needed
and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required Background in Education or related field preferred Prior substitute/lead teacher experience preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Under the direct supervision of the Head of School, Substitutes will: Follow lesson plans, classroom procedures, schedules, and instructions as provided by the lead classroom teacher Supervise and monitor students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other school events Support classroom management using positive behavior guidance and social-emotional techniques Comply with all Mason Preparatory School policies and procedures, and expectations
