TVI – Moncks Corner, SC Full-Time – On-Site Hourly rates between $40-46/hour based on experience Generous PTO accrual to utilize during school breaks or whenever you need!

Responsibilities

  • Assist parents in understanding their children's abilities and disabilities using appropriateassessment tools and goal development. (Essential)
  • Stay current with clinical, theoretical, and educational research as well as state andfederal regulations for visually-impaired programs. (Essential)
  • Provide in-service education about programs for the visually impaired to districtpersonnel and parents. (Essential)
  • Attend staff meetings and in-services as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements

Candidates must possess knowledge of special education programs for visually impaired students and methods for teaching those from birth through age 21. Proficiency in Braille instruction and the ability to evaluate diagnostic information are essential requirements for this role.
