Provide specialized individual and small-group instruction in a resource room setting. Support students in core academic areas including reading, writing, and mathematics. Implement specially designed instruction based on individual IEP goals. Develop, review, and monitor IEP goals and student progress. Adapt instructional materials and provide appropriate accommodations and modifications. Collect and analyze student data to measure progress and adjust instruction. Serve as case manager for assigned students and maintain required special education documentation. Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reviews. Collaborate with general education teachers to support students in inclusive classroom settings. Work with families, paraeducators, and related service providers to coordinate student support. Support students in developing academic independence, organization, and self-advocacy skills.
