As a Part-Time Behavior Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism in their homes, implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Position: Part-Time Behavior Therapist Location: Fairfield County, Connecticut Schedule: Flexible Part-Time Hours Setting: In-Home ABA Services Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in their homes under the supervision of a BCBA Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies Teach communication, social, play, self-help, school readiness, and daily living skills Utilize evidence-based teaching procedures to increase skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Collect accurate session data and complete daily clinical documentation Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization across home and community settings Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment Communicate effectively with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress Follow all company policies, HIPAA requirements, and clinical procedures
High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Human Services, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred Experience working with children is preferred (ABA experience is a plus but not required) RBT certification preferred, but not required-paid training and support provided Passion for helping children achieve meaningful progress Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to remain active throughout therapy sessions, including sitting on the floor, playing with children, lifting up to 50 pounds, and responding quickly to client behaviors Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Fairfield County Why Join Solara?
