Solara Autism Services is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team providing in-home ABA services throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut. As a Part-Time RBT, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism in their homes, implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This flexible opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference while helping children build communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily living skills in their natural environment.

Position Details

Position: Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Location: Fairfield County, Connecticut Schedule: Flexible Part-Time Hours Setting: In-Home ABA Services Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in clients' homes Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA Teach communication, social, play, self-help, daily living, and adaptive skills Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and behavior intervention techniques Collect accurate session data and maintain timely clinical documentation Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress Participate in ongoing supervision, team meetings, and professional development Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization across home and community settings Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment Follow all BACB RBT Ethics Code standards, company policies, and insurance documentation requirements

Qualifications

Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification) High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Human Services, or a related field preferred Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities is preferred Passion for helping children reach their full potential Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team Ability to remain active throughout therapy sessions, including sitting on the floor, playing with children, lifting up to 50 pounds, and responding quickly to client behaviors Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Fairfield County Why Join Solara?
