January 22, 2027 Note: Assignment dates may change based on the duration of the employee's FMLA leave Caseload & Responsibilities The selected SLP will provide speech-language services to students across the PreK–5th grade age range. The clinician may support students across two school buildings depending on district needs. Responsibilities may include: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK–5th grade students Support students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations Develop and implement individualized speech-language goals Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on individual needs Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers Ensure students receive services in accordance with their IEPs
Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license required Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively with students across the PreK–5th grade age range Flexibility to potentially support students across two school locations Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate ranging from $45.00–$60.00 per hour Free health insurance, dental, and vision options.
