Baptism Prep Coordinator
The Baptism Prep Coordinator is responsible for administering baptismal programs, including preparing families for sacraments and coordinating liturgical celebrations. They also manage volunteer teams and ensure all sacramental recordkeeping aligns with diocesan standards.
Under the direction of the Parish Catechetical Leader or Pastor, the Faith Formation Coordinator (Baptism Preparation) is responsible for coordinating and administering baptismal programs. This includes preparing individuals and families to receive the sacraments, coordinating related liturgical celebrations, and ensuring proper documentation and program execution in alignment with diocesan standards. The Coordinator collaborates with parish staff, clergy, and volunteers to support effective Baptismal preparation.

Baptismal Responsibilities Coordinates and implements baptismal preparation programs in collaboration with the Pastor.
Recruits, trains, and supports volunteers involved in baptismal preparation.
Meets with families to guide them through the sacramental preparation process.
Facilitates preparation sessions and ensures appropriate materials are available.
Coordinates baptismal liturgies and ensures proper sacramental recordkeeping.
General Responsibilities Collaborates with parish staff and leadership to ensure alignment with overall faith formation efforts. Ensures compliance with diocesan policies, including Safe Environment requirements. Participates in parish and diocesan meetings related to ministry responsibilities. Performs other duties as assigned.
