Duties include teaching Math Methods courses in the Education Specialist Credential Program (ESCP) in the Department of Teacher Education. Additional responsibilities include holding office hours for students, participating in course collaboration meetings, and completing program-related training. This position is contingent upon the availability of authorized funding.
1. Teaching Credential with an added authorization in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). 2. Expertise in methods to teach English Learners 3. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis & Dyslexia Guidelines 4. Experience teaching and supervising adults. 5. Knowledge of technology for online teaching and Canvas LMS.

Salary is based on qualifications and experience. As a member of the 23-campus CSU System, we offer an extremely competitive benefits package.
Newly hired lecturers with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3 of the salary schedule and others are normally placed in Range 2. Starting salaries are usually at or near the minimum of the range. The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated in the schedules are prorated based on the number of units assigned and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Special Education or Education with a concentration in Special Education. A minimum of five years of TK-12 teaching experience in a special education setting is required.
