26-27 Middle Grades ELA Teacher

The classroom teacher is responsible for ensuring scholars receive a quality classical education by setting high academic and behavioral standards, planning engaging lessons, and evaluating effectiveness to drive academic achievement and character development. Essential duties include meeting and instructing assigned classes, maintaining a positive learning environment, differentiating instruction to meet student needs, and collaborating with colleagues using student data.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree and a valid indiana teacher license, along with a strong understanding of child development, pedagogy, and content knowledge, demonstrated by a track record of student performance. Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience, training in classical education, and experience using the school curriculum.
