Security Officer

The security officer is responsible for protecting individuals and maintaining the security of campus buildings, facilities, and grounds, serving as the first responder to emergencies like medical and criminal incidents. Duties include conducting routine patrols, coordinating with emergency services, maintaining accurate logs, and enforcing campus policies.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and be at least 18 years old, passing a comprehensive criminal background check. Required abilities include standing/Walking for long periods, lifting heavy loads, running, strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to operate department vehicles like golf carts.
