Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education required Current teaching certificate Creativity and strong interpersonal communication skills A growth mindset and commitment to professional excellence Passion for early childhood development and child‑centered instruction Ability to collaborate effectively with preschool colleagues and classroom aides All candidates must meet Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements

Key Responsibilities

Establish and enforce clear, developmentally appropriate classroom expectations Provide children with engaging tools, materials, and resources for structured activities, exploration, and play Plan and deliver lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, social‑emotional development, and faith formation Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet diverse learning styles and interests Observe, document, and support each child’s individual development Communicate effectively and regularly with parents and guardians Build and maintain positive, supportive relationships with children and families Work collaboratively with other preschool teachers and aides to ensure consistency and excellence across the program
