Lead Childcare Teacher

Lead teachers are responsible for preparing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans one week in advance using current curriculum guides, covering all areas of child development according to the daily routine. They must also establish rapport with families, maintain classroom safety and organization, and conduct biannual parent/Teacher conferences.

Qualified candidates must possess an associate degree or higher, along with a minimum of one year of classroom experience in a licensed childcare facility, and must successfully pass all required background checks. The role requires physical ability to work around small children, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
