Job Summary Christ the King School seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic 6th Grade Teacher to join our Middle school community for the 2026–2027 school year.

The ideal candidate is committed to fostering academic excellence, supporting student growth, and promoting the mission and values of Christ the King School.

This role includes planning and delivering engaging instruction, assessing student progress, and contributing to a positive, faith‑centered learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high‑quality instruction in core 6th grade subjects Create a positive, structured, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs Assess student performance and communicate progress effectively with students and parents Support students’ social‑emotional development and reinforce positive behavior Integrate Catholic values into daily instruction and classroom culture Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance student learning Maintain accurate records and fulfill all school and Archdiocesan requirements Participate in professional development and contribute to schoolwide initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field State teaching certification or eligibility preferred Experience teaching upper elementary or middle‑school students preferred Strong instructional, communication, and classroom‑management skills Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Christ the King School Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

  • Physical RequirementsMust be able to stand and move throughout the school day; supervise students indoors and outdoors; and respond promptly and appropriately in emergency situations.

Requirements
