  • Louis.Job Summary The PSR Teacher/Catechist provides religious education and faith formation to children and youth enrolled in the parish religious education program.
  • The teacher helps students grow in their understanding of Catholic teachings, Scripture, prayer, sacraments, and Christian living in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church.Job Responsibilities Teach weekly PSR classes using parish or diocesan-approved curriculum Prepare lesson plans that are age-appropriate and faith-centered Incorporate Scripture, prayer, Catholic doctrine, and Church traditions into instruction Assist in preparing students for sacraments such as:
