Job description

Responsibilities

  • The Outpatient Intern-Case Manager/Therapist works with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, mental health techs, and others, to help stabilize patient's mental health and substance abuse crisis.
  • As a team member in our Outpatient Services, this person will understand the assessment process, develop individualized treatment plans, manage the psychosocial needs of patients, develop crisis plans and discharge plans, interface with patient's family and supports, conduct group therapies using a cognitive model, and manage multiple competing demands throughout the day.
  • Outpatient Services is made of a team of both full-time and PRN employees, working various days of the week.
  • As an intern there is the potential of moving to a PRN or full-time status if desired once you obtain your Licensure.
  • Flexible schedules available.
