The Teacher's Assistant supports the lead teacher in delivering educational programs to students. The goal is to help students reach their full educational potential within a behavioral health setting.

Under the direction of the Teacher, the Teacher’s Assistant assists the teacher in providing students with educational programs that will enable them to reach their fullest educational potential.
Education: Years of experience can make up for formal degree. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Knowledge of current professional Education practice and techniques applicable to the care of behavioral students. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the same. Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with other staff, management, and physicians. Analytical skills necessary to observe educational practice as well as observe and interpret human behavior accurately. Ability to organize and carry out responsibilities efficiently.
