Student Nurse-Neuro Progressive Care Unit-PT-3rd shift

The student nurse aide provides basic and select advanced nursing care under the direction of an rn/Lpn, addressing patients' psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and physical needs. Responsibilities also include assisting with admissions, transfers, discharges, and performing delegated advanced activities like simple dressing changes and routine medication administration.

Candidates must have completed a minimum of one year of clinical experience in an academic nursing program, including fundamentals of nursing and pharmacology with medication administration. They must currently be enrolled and in good standing in an accredited nursing program, and require a bls certification by the end of orientation.
