Career Advisor

The career advisor will provide professional career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-Up services to registered customers within the one-Stop system, including completing intake and eligibility determination. Key duties involve assessing jobseeker needs, guiding the preparation of individual employment plans (Iep), counseling clients on opportunities, and conducting group presentations like workshops and job clubs.

Candidates must have education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, combined with two years of work experience encompassing training, counseling, or case management, with substantial case management experience being necessary. Required abilities include cultural sensitivity, serving as a role model, motivation skills, and proficiency with personal computers, microsoft office, email, and the internet.
