Behavior Therapist Intern

The behavior therapist intern provides individualized, early intervention services directly to clients, actively working to improve therapy skills while prioritizing ethical regard for client best interests. Essential functions include providing direct therapy following program plans, accurately documenting services, and redirecting/Monitoring client behaviors under supervision.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess general knowledge of typical and special needs clients, and be proficient in microsoft word and excel, with the ability to lift fifty pounds. Successful candidates must also pass background checks and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to follow treatment directions and supervisory guidance.
