Child Care Teacher

The child care teacher is responsible for creating hands-On activities that meet the needs and interests of children while maintaining open communication with parents. They must also ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or ged, and 1 year of professional experience in child care is preferred. Related college coursework or cda coursework is required, with an associate or bachelor’s degree in early education being preferred.
