Core responsibilities
This role leads infection prevention efforts at caleb hitchcock health center by driving evidence-Based infection control practices, monitoring data, leading outbreak investigations, and ensuring compliance with health standards. Additionally, the position collaborates on clinical orientation, staff training programs, and lms administration for nursing staff.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess an active connecticut registered nurse (Rn) license and have 3 years of clinical nursing experience, including 1 year in staff education or training. Required certifications include obtaining infection prevention and control (Cic) certification and bls/Cpr instructor certification within three months of hire.
