Teen Parent Specialist I AM

The specialist is responsible for the overall wellbeing, care, and supervision of adolescent mothers (Ages 12-18), young adults (18-21), and their children (Ages 0-5) in a residential setting, applying trauma-Informed practices. Key duties include planning and leading parenting, educational, and life skills activities, building positive relationships with participants, and accurately documenting client progress.

A minimum of a high school diploma or ged is required, with an associate's degree preferred in a human services field, education, or psychology. The role demands maturity, emotional stability, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to adhere strictly to agency policies, including confidentiality and mandatory training completion.
