Core responsibilities

The summer instructor will lead hands-On design challenges and outdoor activities, facilitating galileo’s project-Based curriculum across various rotations for groups of up to 28 campers. Responsibilities also include ensuring a safe learning environment, managing camper behavior using restorative practices, and actively engaging in all camp traditions.

Requirements summary

Candidates must have at least one year of instructional or classroom support experience in k-8 education, or equivalent experience, and be able to supervise, mentor, and teach children. Applicants must be at least 18 years old by may 1st, 2026, and commit to working the full duration of the camp (4-8 continuous weeks).
