Unarmed Security Guard

The unarmed security guard is responsible for enforcing all authorized laws, rules, and policies set by the safety and security department. Duties include performing alarm and patrol duties to protect life and property against various threats and providing assistance to visitors, students, and staff.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position, though one year of experience in security, law enforcement, or related duties is preferred. Candidates must pass a drug screen and a nationwide criminal background check, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable record is preferred.
