Veterinary Technician Student Externship - Fort Myers, FL

Participants will engage in hands-On learning in emergency medicine, shadowing and assisting credentialed veterinary technicians with tasks ranging from patient triage and diagnostics to inpatient care. The externship focuses on real-Time mentoring to help students practice skills required by their school's proficiency checklist.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an avma-Accredited veterinary technology or nursing program requiring externship hours and must be able to start within six months of application. Candidates need physical stamina for prolonged standing and lifting, and must be willing to work in a fast-Paced, potentially noisy environment.
