Core responsibilities
The extern will shadow and assist credentialed veterinary technicians with triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, and inpatient care. They will actively participate in emergency medical procedures and gain hands-On experience in a fast-Paced hospital environment.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an avma-Accredited veterinary technology or nursing program. Applicants must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 kg and standing for prolonged periods.
