NC Pre-K Assistant Teacher : 2026-2027 School Year

The assistant teacher will support the nc pre-K lead teacher in managing classroom activities, ensuring compliance with nc division of child development and early education standards and the nc pre-K curriculum objectives. This involves helping to foster a positive environment and assisting in planning and implementing learning experiences across various developmental domains.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check, and possess a high school diploma or ged, along with either an associate degree in an early childhood field or a cda credential. Essential qualities include genuine empathy for children's needs, excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the physical capability to work with young children.
