Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for providing swim instruction based on the goldfish swim school curriculum, enforcing safety rules, and performing rescues or administering first aid when necessary. Duties also include evaluating student progress, interacting with parents, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of pool areas and equipment.

Candidates must be able to work with children and possess excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills, along with passing required background examinations. A high school diploma or ged is preferred, and experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor, camp counselor, or childcare provider is required, along with two or more years as a swimming instructor.
