Adjunct Faculty - Philosophy

Adjunct faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the school. These temporary, part-Time positions are hired each semester on an as-Needed basis to teach philosophy in person during the day.

A qualified faculty member must possess an earned master’s or higher degree in philosophy, or a master’s or higher degree in any field accompanied by 18 graduate semester hours in philosophy-Related courses such as ethics or logic. The candidate must be available to teach in-Person classes at the main campus or satellite sites.
