Job description
As a licensed optometrist, this individual is responsible for clinical services to patients in the Department of Ophthalmology, including routine eye exams, refractions, contact lens fittings, and diagnosis and management of ophthalmic conditions. This individual will also provide training to optometric externs, optometry residents, and ophthalmology residents. Organizes, supervises and provides clinical services to patients Interacts with trainees so that they will be proficient in understanding and providing services to patients Performs other appropriate duties as requested by the faculty of the Department. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate degree in Optometry.

- Skills: Experience utilizing a personal computer PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive);
- Repetitive motion: computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs.
