Special Education Teacher / Education Specialist - Mod/Severe - (26-27)

The teacher will lead and manage the development, proposal, and implementation of individualized education plans (Ieps) for eligible students, collaborating with stakeholders to set measurable goals in academic, behavior, and social-Emotional areas. Responsibilities also include providing specialized academic instruction and behavior intervention services through various service models, collecting data to monitor progress, and developing modified lessons aligned with ieps and the school's mission.

Candidates must hold a b.a/B.s. Degree and meet specific teaching eligibility requirements, such as holding a valid credential or being eligible for a provisional internship permit. Essential knowledge includes a commitment to the kipp mission, anti-Racism, belief in high student achievement, strong content knowledge, and proficiency in building relationships and using instructional technology.
