Job description

Description Miriam is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Teacher Assistant to join our collaborative team. This role assists classroom teachers in providing high-impact instruction to middle and high school students through push-in and pull-out services where needed. In the past, our teacher assistants have also provided targeted small-group and/or individual academic support. The ideal candidate will administer the instructional program in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines, providing necessary accommodations and differentiation in reading and writing to serve diverse learning profiles.

Requirements

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field Experience working with students with learning challenges preferred

Working Conditions Typical Schedule

  • Monday-Friday 8 AM- 4 PM with about twice a month after school meetings that run until 5 pm plus at least two weekend
