  • Position: K–3 Spanish Teacher (Part-Time)
  • St.
  • Thomas More Catholic School is seeking a part-time Spanish Teacher for grades K–3.
  • We are looking for a candidate whose relationship with Jesus Christ is central to their life and who teaches and models the morals, values, and teachings of the Catholic Church.

  • Responsibilities and Expectations Candidates must: Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the Archdiocese of Denver curriculum.
  • Create a classroom environment that fosters respect, enthusiasm, and a love of foreign language while maintaining consistent behavior expectations.
  • Incorporate a variety of instructional methods to address the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, including differentiated instruction as needed.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, administrators, and colleagues to support student growth and maintain strong relationships.
  • Integrate faith into lessons and interactions, modeling Christian virtues and supporting the spiritual development of students.
  • Cooperate with administration and fellow faculty members to support a cohesive and mission-driven educational experience.

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree Current state teaching licensure or willingness to obtain licensure within 18 months of hire. Experience teaching Spanish to children (K–8) in a classroom or group setting preferred. Proficiency in Spanish fluency Strong classroom management skills and an ability to maintain consistent expectations. All candidates must be willing and able to actively support and model Catholic teachings in word and action. Approx. start date August 2026
