Full Time Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher is responsible for assisting in the general supervision and management of a classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, stimulating, and educational environment for children to develop socially, physically, emotionally, and cognitively. Key duties include attending to children's personal needs, assisting in program planning and implementation, maintaining a clean environment, and interacting positively with children.

Candidates must meet physical requirements such as observing, lifting up to 30 pounds frequently, reaching children quickly, and sitting on the floor for extended periods, alongside possessing good health and necessary clearances (Nys registry, criminal history). A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and at least one year of related work experience with children is preferred.
