Full Time Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher is responsible for assisting in the general supervision and management of a classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, stimulating, and educational environment for children. This includes attending to personal needs, assisting in program planning and implementation, and maintaining a clean classroom environment.

Candidates must meet physical requirements such as lifting 30 pounds and responding quickly to emergencies, and must be at least 18 years old with required clearances like nys registry and criminal history fingerprint clearance. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and at least one year of related work experience with children is preferred.
