- Job Responsibilities
- Develop and support individualized service plans tailored to learning support plans.
- Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations.
- Utilize research-based strategies to support students with learning disabilities, emotional challenges, and developmental delays.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and spiritual growth.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure students receive appropriate support.
- Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Participate in professional development, school meetings, and faith-based activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of student progress and services provided.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education or a related field.
- Valid state teaching certification, certification in Special Education preferred.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Strong understanding of learning disabilities, assessment tools intervention strategies, and instructional best practices.
- IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavioral interventions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
