Job description

  • Department Overview The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
  • Function/Duties of Position This position serves as a Board-Certified Laryngology Surgeon within the Department.
  • It is an expectation that the faculty member participates in clinical and surgical activities and takes a fair share of call on nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • OHSU is a teaching facility, and this faculty member will be expected to teach medical students and residents in the clinical setting, as well as through assigned lectures throughout the year.
  • The Director of Education will issue teaching assignments.
  • Required Qualifications This position will see patients at the Center for Health and Healing, 15th floor Voice Clinic.
  • Surgeries will primarily be scheduled at both CHH and on the main campus.
  • Fellowship-trained, board-certified surgeon.
  • Active unrestricted OR Medical and DEA license.
