The residential counselor supports individuals diagnosed with a developmental disability to live as independently as possible while providing evidence-Based treatment and care. They assist in developing individualized treatment plans and ensure the health, safety, and well-Being of individuals in a group living environment.
Requirements summary
A high school diploma, ged, or equivalent is required along with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, a willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.
