Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI / Teacher of the Blind)

The tvi provides specialized instruction in compensatory access skills such as braille, tactile literacy, and assistive technology, while also adapting curriculum materials into accessible formats for students with blindness or low vision. Core duties include conducting functional vision assessments (Fva) and learning media assessments (Lma), collaborating with educators and families, and participating in iep and multidisciplinary evaluation teams.
