Position Summary

Mount Mary University invites applications for Adjunct Clinical Instructors to support the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Clinical faculty play a crucial role in guiding students in real-world practice settings, fostering professional growth, clinical reasoning, and compassionate patient-centered care. This role focuses exclusively on clinical teaching and supervision, with no didactic responsibilities required. Primary Responsibilities · Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings such as Long-Term Care, Medical–Surgical, or other assigned practice areas. · Provide on-site coaching, clinical demonstrations, and real-time competency assessment. · Ensure safe, ethical, evidence-based practice aligned with course and program outcomes. · Conduct pre- and post-clinical conferences to enhance clinical reflection and judgment. · Provide timely, constructive feedback and complete required student evaluations. · Communicate effectively with clinical partners and uphold institutional and regulatory expectations. · Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learners. · Participate in required faculty onboarding and orientation

Qualifications

· BSN required; MSN preferred for clinical instruction. · Unencumbered RN license in Wisconsin (or eligibility for WI licensure). · Minimum of two years of clinical practice experience in the assigned specialty area. · Prior experience precepting or teaching students is desirable. · Strong communication, professionalism, and commitment to student success.
