Teachers Assistant

The teacher's aide assists the head teacher in preparing and delivering daily activities, actively participating with children during play and ensuring a quality experience aligned with ymca values. Responsibilities also include maintaining program cleanliness, communicating concerns immediately to the supervisor, and adhering to all required training.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and have previous experience working with children, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with children, families, and staff. Required qualifications include obtaining certification in connecticut child care, adult & child cpr within 90 days, and possessing good oral, written communication, and public speaking skills.
