Salem - Assistant Special Education Teacher - 25-26 School Year

The assistant special education teacher will supervise and provide one-On-One instruction to students with mild disabilities under the direction of the directors. Responsibilities include supervising students during lunch and maintaining consistent communication with the directors regarding student progress.

Candidates must be able to work well under pressure and effectively diffuse highly emotional situations. Required education includes an associate's degree, 48 college credit hours, or successfully passing a basic academic skills exam within the first week of hire.
