In-Home Specialist

The in-Home specialist delivers intensive, in-Home services using evidence-Based models to families referred by dcbs to address risk factors and ensure child safety, aiming to prevent unnecessary out-Of-Home placement. Responsibilities include providing direct intervention, utilizing recognized curricula, and offering reunification services when applicable for children aged 0-17.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field is required, along with the ability to pass criminal background checks, can checks, and pre-Employment drug testing. Professional experience serving multi-Problem families and knowledge of crisis intervention and behavioral goal setting are preferred.
