Outreach Athletic Trainer - Atrium Health Sports Medicine, Float Team, Full-Time

The outreach athletic trainer manages day-To-Day medical coverage in high schools, utilizing preventative measures, providing immediate care, clinical evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation under physician supervision. This role involves determining return to play standards, managing head injuries, and collaborating with the sports medicine team to ensure service excellence.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in athletic training from a caate program is required, with a master's degree preferred, along with boc certification and eligibility for north carolina licensure within 30 days of hire. Candidates must be able to work independently, possess excellent decision-Making skills, and maintain necessary certifications like bls/Cpr/Aed.
