The Lead Teacher will be responsible for teaching according to the FL Four Year Old Standards, which includes preparing materials, cleaning the classroom, and fostering positive communication with families. They must also participate in required trainings and maintain a positive, encouraging contribution to the team environment.
Candidates must possess a CDA and have completed the new Early Literacy requirements and the FAST training to teach in the VPK class. Essential requirements include punctuality, consistent attendance, and passing a background screening, with CPR and First Aid obtainable after the start date.
Teachers must be proficient with FL Four Year Old Standards and able to teach to them.
