Summer Camp Specialist

The specialist will ensure the safety and well-Being of children through active supervision and enforcement of safety protocols while developing and implementing diverse, engaging specialty activities for the camp session. This role requires leading activities, providing instruction and encouragement to foster skill development, and building positive, inclusive relationships with the youth participants.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, meeting lead teacher qualifications defined by the va department of education. Required qualifications include maintaining good character, obtaining cpr/First aid certifications within 30 days of hire, passing background checks, and possessing adequate communication skills for interacting with children.
