Mother and Child Welfare Specialist

The maternal health specialist assists mothers by scheduling appointments, assessing infant and women care needs, monitoring infant development, and providing guidance and referrals through a home visiting program. Responsibilities also include case management documentation and reports for mcos and supervisors for full-Time roles.

Candidates need an associate's degree in a related field or a high school diploma/Ged with a comparable credential, along with demonstrated competency in implementing home-Based learning curricula. Required competencies include knowledge of infant/Toddler development, health, nutrition, safety, family dynamics, and the ability to obtain first aid and pediatric cpr certification within 90 days.
